GCC Chair pays a courtesy visit to TLTB

A TESTAMENT TO THE POWER OF COLLABORATION

In an effort to engage with all our communities, TLTB’s Interim CEO Mr. Solomoni Nata, made time to visit landowners in islands of Taveuni, Laucala and Qamea last week. It was three sea crossings from Suva across the Koro Sea to Savusavu, then from Natuvu across the Somosomo Straight to Taveuni then to Laucala Island and Qamea Island. Mr Nata met with all the chiefs of Lalagavesi who gathered to hear about TLTB’s new business direction. They expressed appreciation for Mr. Nata’s effort and sacrifice in reaching out to them and guiding the way forward for the development of the iTaukei people. This outreach effort is part of TLTB’s broader consultation strategy, which has already seen consultations conducted in 54 districts across 14 provinces in Fiji. These districts include: Nawaka, Nadi, Vaturu, Sikituru, Rukuruku, Sabeto, Vuda, Vitogo, Nailaga, Toga, Suva, Vuna,Naitarisi, Batiniwai, Veivatuloa, Nakelo, Nuku, Namosi, Bau, Nausori, Bulu,
Tavua, Viria, Saivou, Nalawa, Bemana, Namataku, Naikoro, Navatusila, Nadrau, Nokonoko, Cuvu, Malomalo, Komave, Nasikawa, Wailevu, Nasavusavu, Bua, Lekutu, Vuya, Dama,
Labasa, Macuata, Wailevu, Lawaki, Nasau, Nababa, Tokaimalo, Nailuva, Nalaba, Naroko, and Rakiraki.
So far provinces covered are: Ba, Bua, Cakaudrove, Macuata, Nadroga, Naitarisi, Namosi, Ra, Rewa, Serua, and Tailevu.
