In a finals night packed with powerful and great displays of skill and talent, Team Vanua proudly secured the Bowl Division Championship at the 2025 Suva Volleyball Association Business House Volleyball Tournament, held last night at the Fiji Sports Council National Netball Centre in Laucala Bay.
The Competition ran for 14 weeks with various pool games and preliminary competition being played. Games wrapped up with intense finals action.
Team Vanua kicked off the evening with a strong showing in the quarterfinals, outplaying a tough NDPL Tupaia side with a 28–20 victory. Meanwhile, TLTB delivered a solid performance in the semifinals, overcoming Westpac 28–21, setting up a thrilling Grand Final.
In a highly anticipated rematch with top contenders FRCS White, Team Vanua delivered when it mattered most — taking out the final in two straight sets to claim the Bowl title in commanding fashion.
“We’re incredibly proud of the team’s performance throughout the tournament,” said Josefata Cati, Senior Legal Officer at TLTB. “Their teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship have been truly inspiring. This win reflects the heart and unity of Team Vanua, and we’re excited to celebrate this achievement.”
