January 19, 2023Minister for iTaukei Affairs, Heritage & Arts Hon. Ifereimi Vasu today (18th January 2023) visited the Rewa Provincial Office at Nabalili, Lomanikoro in Rewa.
The Rewa Provincial Council Office was the first province to be visited by the Minister for iTaukei Affairs, Heritage & Arts Hon. Ifereimi Vasu yesterday (18th January 2023) at Nabalili, Lomanikoro in Rewa.
This is part of Hon. Vasu’s plan of action in trying to reach out to each of the 14 provincial offices under the guidance of the iTaukei Affairs Board (TAB).
It was an opportunity for the Minister and his team to fully understand the operations of the Rewa Provincial Office and their plans for the future which also comes under his ministerial portfolio.
Representatives of the Rewa Provincial Company Holdings Ltd were also present and guided on the pathways that can be exhausted by the company to promote economic participation.
The Minister was accompanied by the:

Fijian Holdings Ltd CEO Mr Jaoji Koroi,
iTaukei Land Trust Board CEO Mr Tevita Kuruvakadua,
iTaukei Trust Fund Board CEO Mr Aisake Taito,
Centre for Appropriate Technology and Development Director Mr Aporosa Silatolu.
Hon. Vasu says that a lot of collaboration is needed from all under the umbrella of the Taukei Institutions which all comes under the Ministry of iTaukei Affairs.
The Assistant Minister for iTaukei Affairs Hon. Isikeli Tuiwainunu was also part of the ministerial visitation yesterday.
