BUILDING CAPACITY FOR TLTB’S NEW BUSINESS DIRECTION

In a proud moment for the iTaukei Land Trust Board (TLTB), we are pleased to share that Mr. Ilaisa Kalivari from our very own Valuation Department have been officially awarded his Registered Valuer (RV) certificates by the Valuation Registration Board (RVB).

This achievement not only marks a personal achievement for Mr. Kalivari but also reflects TLTB’s broader commitment to strengthening in-house expertise as we embark on our New Business Direction. By building valuation capacity within the organisation, we enhance our ability to support landowner-driven development, strategic land use planning, and wealth creation through accurate and independent property valuation.

Additionally, Mr. Laisenia Talavutu of our Sigatoka/Western Office has completed his final practical interview and is one step closer to joining the ranks of Registered Valuers. His progress highlights the talent pipeline within TLTB and our focus on professional development.

We are also working toward having at least 2–4 more internal candidates sit their final oral interviews by November 2025, once they complete and submit the required seven (7) valuation reports.

Accurate land valuations are a cornerstone of landowner empowerment, and we’re committed to growing our capacity to serve landowners better—now and into the future.
