The CEO, Mr. Solomoni Nata officially commissioned a solar power system at Veivatuloa village hall on the 16th of August, 2024, marking a significant step towards sustainable energy in the community. The installation includes eight bulb lights and two power points. The solar power system will significantly enhance the hall’s function as an evacuation centre, providing essential power for charging devices like mobile phones and laptops.
Turaga Tui Namosi, Ratu Matanitobua, expressed deep gratitude to the Board for selecting Veivatuloa as a host village for this initiative. The CEO led consultation efforts with the community prior to the handover, underscoring the project’s importance in promoting renewable energy.
