TLTB LAUNCHES QELEMAROROI HOLDINGS & OPENS TAUKEI PLAZA DUA
August 4, 2025Over the past week, CEO Mr. Solomone Nata completed a series of staff meetings in Rakiraki, Ba, Lautoka, Nadi, and Sigatoka — marking a renewed focus on people-first leadership and the heart of TLTB’s future.
The purpose of the tour was not only to receive updates on key projects, activities, and operational priorities, but more importantly, to hear directly from the staff and to provide clear direction on where TLTB is headed as it embarks on a new era of transformation.
In each session, Mr Nata set the tone with a message that went beyond statistics and spreadsheets. “This is not a meeting about case management or lease numbers,” he said. “It is a conversation about people – about who we are, how we serve, and the kind of culture we must build together.”
He emphasized that true empowerment of the iTaukei people will only come when the internal culture of TLTB reflects integrity, punctuality, discipline, humility, and the heart of servanthood.
“Character leads performance. If we are to redeem trust, then we must first be trustworthy,” he reminded staff across all offices.
He also reinforced the Board’s vision of landowner empowerment — not just as a slogan, but as a deep responsibility that begins with TLTB’s own staff believing in the mission and living it daily through their actions and attitudes.
Staff across the Western Division welcomed the CEO’s visit, noting the inspiration and personal encouragement they received. Many expressed appreciations for the opportunity to connect directly with the CEO and to hear, firsthand, the deeper vision for the Board and for the iTaukei landowners.
“We are not just building systems; we are shaping culture. And that begins with each one of us,” said Mr. Nata as he concluded his final staff meeting in Sigatoka.
Mr Nata also had time to inspect some of the key project sites along the way.
