AGRICULTURE LEASE RENEWALS BY TLTB
December 16, 2023METHODIST CHURCH IN FIJI AND TLTB FORGE HISTORIC AGREEMENT
January 23, 2024Rev. Wilfred Regunamada set the tone for a transformative New Year as he graced the iTaukei Land Trust Board (TLTB) Executive Management’s invitation with a powerful church service earlier this week. Quoting from 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝟭:𝟮𝟲, he reminded us of God’s words: “𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙨𝙖𝙞𝙙, 𝙇𝙚𝙩 𝙐𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙚, 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨: 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣…𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝…”
In these divine words lies a profound truth – our duty, entrusted by God, is to navigate through life’s challenges, and being made in the image of God, bring into submission the works the Devil, and find salvation and restoration at the Cross.
Rev. Regunamada passionately declared, “You were called here to serve the landowners and the people of Fiji. If you think it’s about money , I tell you today – No! Your purpose is to serve with the utmost devotion to God and the people.”
“O iko o sa kacivi mai mo mai veiqaravi ena Matabose cecere oqo ka vakatulewataki tiko kina na noda qele na iTaukei. O sega ni lako mai ke mo mai vaqara ilavo, o iko lako mai ke ena nona veikacivi na Kalou, ka mo mai qarava na nona kaci na Kalou ki vei iko.”
These sacred teachings remind us that our actions should be guided by a higher purpose – to uplift and serve the community with love, humility, and righteousness.
TLTB Interim CEO Mr. Solomoni Nata acknowledges this divine guidance, stating that such practices are important for an important institution like TLTB. Now, the revival of spiritual foundations is essential for the growth of our work culture and the nurturing of self-discipline.
TLTB embarks on this New Year with a renewed sense of purpose, embracing the divine teachings that connect us to a higher calling. May our actions be guided by love, service, and a commitment to improving not only ourselves but also the world around us.
