The Accountant Landowner Affairs will plan and manage the general accounting activities. The officer will also be responsible for preparing income and distribution reports, cash balances and other financial results for the Trust entity. The position reports to the Manager Trust and will be based in the Trust Department in Suva.

The position is based at the TLTB Head Office Suva.

Job description:	Key Outcomes: Methods and procedures developed for the preparation of budgets for Trust income and disbursements and coordinating preparation. Senior management assisted with the provision of decision support services and financial advice. Accuracy and consistency ensured in all aspects of accounting transactions and procedures. Ensured timely and accurate planning, directing, motivating, and supervising of Trust officers in the processing of financial transactions. Growth in efficiency and effectiveness in work practices by active participation in teamwork, sharing information and proposing improvements. Registration officers, verifiers and approvers supervised and monitored to ensure registration forms are registered, verified, and approved in compliance with the Individual Distribution policy.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience	Degree in Accounting is preferred. Post graduate Diploma or Certificate is desirable. 5-6 years of highly relevant experience in a specific area of work, requiring specialized training.
Compensation:	Grade 7 of the TLTB salary scale on an open contract.
