The Reserve Officer I will plan, direct and control the functions and maintain efficiency and effectives of the Department. The incumbent monitors and ensures that weekly and monthly targets of the Department are efficiently achieved. The role operates with a high level of independence and is expected to initiate and implement work procedures with minimum supervision. This position reports directly to the Senior Reserves Officer and to the Reserves Commissioner.

Job description:	Key Outcomes: Statutory requirements on the extinction of a Mataqali implemented. Implement procedures on transmission of extinct Mataqali lands to new owners is actioned in a timely manner. Timely and efficient preparation and gazetting of notices on de-reservation of reserves ensured. Monthly reports and work summary reports compiled. Meetings with landowners on reserve issues conducted. Recommendations for exclusion from Reserves is drafted according to set procedures. Contributing and/or conducting coaching and mentoring of the team, identifying opportunities for improving processes within the Department Work in collaboration and partnership across the Operational team to provide efficient service delivery Monitor and attend to assigned CMS cases to ensure timely closure Continuous learning and development of own skills and knowledge base is ensured. Continue to be in par with the ongoing changes through digitization and transformation within the organisation
Minimum Qualifications / Experience	Degree in Land Management or equivalent with 3 years of highly relevant experience.
Compensation:	Grade 6 of the TLTB salary scale on an open contract.
