The Landowners Relations Officer is responsible for performing assigned tasks in accounting, income and trust debtors distribution and as directed for the Trust entity. The incumbent will ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner. The incumbent will also provide proper and best advice to landowners in relation to the management of their funds.

The successful applicant will be based at the TLTB Head Office in Suva.

Job description:	Key Outcomes: Transactions relating to income and trust debtors’ verification, process and distribute to landowners in compliance with TLTB procedures assignment. Ensure that transactions relating to income and trust debtors are verified, processed and distributed in compliance with TLTB procedures. Quality and efficient customer service to all internal and external clients of the Board maintained. Compliance with Individual Policy Distribution in regard to registering, verifying and approving registration forms are ensured. Contribution to efficient work practices by active participation in teamwork, sharing of information and proposing improvements. Minors’ verification of UTOF statement against the e-services statement for the redeeming of invested funds with UTOF Conducting of reconciliation if there is incorrect pay out due to incorrect linking of LOU Conducting of reconciliation if there is incorrect insertion of LOU bank account details Bank reversals actioned on a fortnightly basis to align to the processing of lease funds as per the Boards pay out schedules Follow up on pending assignment requirements ensured Follow up on pending ERD requirements ensured Understanding of accrual accounting procedures and processes Experience in working with computerized accounting systems
Minimum Qualifications / Experience	Degree in Accounting, Finance or in a related field with 3 years of highly relevant experience
Compensation:	Grade 4 of the TLTB salary scale on an open contract.
