January 5, 2026The iTaukei Land Trust Board (TLTB) marked a historic milestone with the official launch of the LandSoft NGX eServices Platform, a cutting-edge system designed to transform the way landowners access and manage their land-related services.
The event, officiated by the Minister for iTaukei Affairs and TLTB Chairman Hon. Ifereimi Vasu, was more than a ceremonial unveiling—it was a celebration of nearly two decades of digital transformation.
Hon. Vasu reflected on the organisation’s long journey, beginning with the Yalamanchili (YSE) platform hosted by Government, progressing through the Government eServices system, and culminating in the advanced LandSoft NGX platform.
He emphasised that the Board’s foresight had always been clear: systems must be developed, hosted, and managed locally to ensure data sovereignty, efficiency, and sustainability. This vision laid the foundation for the NGX platform, which now consolidates VKB registrations and lease distribution into a single, streamlined system.
Hon. Vasu credited the unwavering support of the Board of Directors, the decisive leadership of the Executive Management Team, and the professionalism of TLTB staff. Together, they drove a digital agenda centred on service excellence, integrity, and modern capabilities.
This leadership saw the launch of LandSoft NGX in April 2024, followed by the development of the eServices platform in July 2025. By November 2025, the system went live, successfully processing payouts, strengthening reconciliation processes, and introducing secure automation for bank-formatted files.
The transition was supported by the migration and backup of more than 850,000 digital records, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and the elimination of manual risks.
In his remarks, Hon. Vasu said that the launch was not just about technology—it was about reaffirming TLTB’s commitment to every iTaukei landowner.
“This platform stands as a symbol of what can be achieved when leadership provides a clear vision and our people unite to deliver it,” he said.
The Minister for iTaukei Affairs echoed this sentiment, noting that LandSoft NGX represents a future defined by innovation, excellence, and strengthened service to landowners and communities.
As the ceremonial ribbon was cut, the launch of LandSoft NGX was hailed as a turning point in TLTB’s history. It is a promise of secure, efficient, and forward-looking service delivery—one that empowers landowners, strengthens governance, and ensures that the stewardship of iTaukei land continues with integrity and modern capability.
