Another successful recipient of the Taukei Development Fund Facility (TDFF) was celebrated today in the province of Nadroga.
Mr. Joji Nasavuilagi from Sanasana Village has taken a big step forward in strengthening his business to boost marine fishing and tourism activities.
CEO Mr. Solomone Nata officially presented Mr. Nasavuilagi with a fiberglass boat and 60HP outboard engine, valued at $20,583.50 in total.
After completing the full assessment process, Mr. Nasavuilagi met all TDFF eligibility and compliance requirements, leading to the approval of his funding request.
With strong industry experience and technical skills, Mr. Nasavuilagi already operates an established business. However, like many entrepreneurs, limited access to financial capital has been a major challenge.
With TDFF support, he can now:
Expand operations and increase production capacity
Upgrade critical equipment
Diversify services
Improve efficiency, competitiveness, and resilience
This investment will enhance sustainability, create new revenue opportunities, and contribute positively to economic growth in Nadroga.
