In the lush highlands of Savusavu, the Vuadomo clan is creating a future of opportunity through Muanivatu Trails, a sustainable eco-tourism venture. With TLTB’s support, they’ve harnessed the value of their land to preserve their environment while empowering their people.

FROM VISION TO REALITY

The Vuadomo community knew their land held great potential, but for years, outsiders reaped the benefits. When Muanivatu Trails emerged, TLTB stepped in to help secure the eco-tourism lease, allowing them to develop their land in a way that respects their culture and values.

FUELING GROWTH

Through a $30,000 low-interest loan from TLTB, Muanivatu Trails was able to build a wellness center, spa, and other key facilities. They have successfully repaid the loan, demonstrating not only their commitment but their ability to grow sustainably. This investment has boosted jobs, increased revenue, and raised their tourism lease value to $1 million FJD—a true reflection of the community’s hard work and dedication.

THE ROAD AHEAD

Looking forward, the Vuadomo clan is preparing to develop 99 acres, including accommodation villas, family homes, and a commercial center. Construction of new tourism facilities starts this month, setting the stage for even more growth.
