The iTaukei Land Trust Board (TLTB) today welcomed Hon. Ifereimi Vasu, the new Minister for iTaukei Affairs, and also Chairman of the TLTB Board of Trustees during his first meeting with the TLTB Management.
THE iTaukei Land Trust Board (TLTB) today welcomed Hon. Ifereimi Vasu, the new Minister for iTaukei Affairs, and also Chairman of the TLTB Board of Trustees during his first meeting with the TLTB Management.
Hon. Vasu reminded the TLTB Management of the need to lift their standard of service to another level so that better services are provided to the landowners and other stakeholders.
“There is also a need for TLTB to serve stakeholders with a positive attitude so that trust is maintained at all levels of service delivery within the organisation.
Hon. Vasu also thanked TLTB for all the programs, services and other outputs delivered to all the stakeholders in 2022.
He is looking forward to work with the TLTB Management and all its staff in the area of its core functions to ensure the Board remains relevant as an organisation and to meet what is expected to deliver in terms of ensuring accessibility of itaukei land for economic development and provide equitable returns for the landowners.
The new TLTB Chairman was accompanied by the Assistant Minister, Hon. Ratu Isikeli Tuiwailevu and Permanent Secretary for iTaukei Affairs Mr Pita Tagicakirewa.
