STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIPS FOR LANDOWNERS AND FARMERS

In his address, Mr. Nata acknowledged the dedication and hospitality shown by the Nananu community. He emphasized that the Board’s gesture was not only a token of appreciation but also an investment in strengthening economic opportunities within the village.
Mr. Nata said the Board’s new strategic direction, which focuses on empowering iTaukei landowners to achieve maximum yield from the use of their land.
He added that land remains the most valuable asset for the iTaukei people, and the Board is committed to ensuring that landowners benefit fully from its potential through proper utilization, improved leasing arrangements, and collaborative partnerships.
