VACANCY 39/2026 – Senior Executive Officer, Special Project (Implementation & Monitoring)

• High quality executive support and advice that reflects TLTB priorities provided.
• Exercise sound judgement based on knowledge of TLTB Act, legislation and policy, vision, mission, of TLTB Estate Operation Manual, priorities of, and standards expected by CEO and the Minister, and personal technical and professional competence.
• Actively monitoring and following up on required actions on behalf of the CEO.
• Quality briefing and debriefing material for the CEO written and prepared.
• High level analytical advice and support as may be requested by the CEO including the review of papers for critical meetings provided.
• High quality documents displaying sound knowledge and analysis including TORs as required by the CEO developed.
• High quality presentations and speech notes developed and coordinated.
• Contributing from time to time to high level governance forums as opportunities arise.
• Meetings on behalf of the CEO attended.
• Issues on behalf of the CEO (such as the Ministerial Tour Agenda) as agreed with the CEO approved.
• Timely, accurate and quality verbal and written advice – identifying risks, options, and opportunities for enhancement for the Chief Executive’s consideration prepared.
• Quality working papers delivered in a timely manner for the Chief Executive ensured.
• Data and information presented for the attention of the Chief Executive collated and critiqued.
• A Matrix register for all referrals from the Chief Senior Executive Officer and follow through to ensure actions completed on time every time maintained.
• Work in collaboration with Operations, Tourism, Landowners department and Corporate in order to provide accurate analysis briefs to the Chief Executive Officers Office on resolution matters.
• Follow through on the implementation or enhancement of approved changes on areas of improvements in the business processes or other business areas.
• Review, re-valuate, implement, monitor, set guidelines, and timelines on deliverables including:
  • Land held in Trust.
  • Inspection of Allotted SSA&B.
  • Native Land Valuation.
  • Land Degradation/ Dilapidation/ Deterioration Valuation under Section 41 of ALTA.
• 360 Inspection, Value on Improvements and Leasehold.
• Intangible Valuations.
• Denarau; Vaturu; Namosi; Varavu; Qeleloa; Monasavu Updates
• Mangrove Taskforce
• Organizational risks identified, Mitigation strategies in place as appropriate to take action to minimize any actual or potential impact ensured.
• A culture of internal and external customer service across all areas of Executive Advisor responsibilities ensured.
• A high level of customer service for external and internal customers ensured.
• Partnership with stakeholders. (Internal and External) enhanced and maintained.
• New partnership to ensure that the Chief Executive’s time is effectively utilized developed.
• Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with other stakeholders for the betterment for TLTB stakeholder engagement prepared.

• Preferred Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Land Management, Real Estate. Desirable Higher Degree Post Grad Certificate or Diploma Land Management and Development , Real Estate with 5 years’ relevant experience

• Grade 8 of the TLTB salary scale on a 3 years contract
