The iTaukei Land Trust Board (TLTB) is committed to a culture of corporate compliance and the promotion of lawful and ethical behaviour and transparency in commercial, legal and other stakeholder dealings. TLTB expects all its employees to act in accordance with the law at all times, to behave professionally and to uphold TLTB’s mission and values in undertaking their duties and activities on behalf of or in association with TLTB.

When an employee or any other member of the public is aware of any reportable conduct, it is incumbent upon that person to report it through the appropriate channels before seeking resolution outside. It applies to all employees (whether temporary, fixed-term, or permanent), consultants, contractors, trainees, seconded staff, casual workers, agency staff, volunteers, interns, agents, sponsors, or any other person or persons associated with TLTB. It also applies to Officers, Board of Trustees and/or Committee members at any level.

Reputable conducts or detrimental action include actions causing an injury, loss, liability or damage, intimidation, victimisation, harassment, threats and reprisals (expressed or implied); discrimination, disadvantage or adverse treatment in relation to a person’s employment, career, profession, trade or business, including, for example, the taking of disciplinary action, dismissal and demotion as well as current or future bias.

In any case, TLTB will protect the identity of its Whistleblower!
