Prime Minister and Chairman of the iTaukei Land Trust Boards' Board of Trustees Hon. Josaia V. Bainimarama launched the revamped TLTB website on Wednesday (17th October 2018).
Mr Bainimarama said he was very excited about the new look website because of the progress we were making with our IT infrastructure through innovative technologies thus the launch of the new look official TLTB website (at) www.tltb.com.fj
The updated site includes changes to navigation, with dropdown menus for both mobile and desktop versions.
"We’ve also improved the structure of our content, so you’ll get more from a quick read. There’s a whole host of smaller but impactful changes, all to make you and a better stakeholder experience of the TLTB website.
The revamped website aims to create a user-friendly browsing experience for our trusted and valued customers, the landowners, tenants and other stakeholders.
In addition to appealingly re-designing the website, we had also refined the product category and menu structure for an enhanced user experience in accessing information relating to their products and services – you can even access it on your mobile phones something that was not available in the old one.
"We also value the feedback of our customers and business partners, so if you have anything to raise with us regarding an itaukei land or a lease; this new website will provide you that avenue online and in real time.
The whole purpose of this new initiative was to add value. While looking at our strategic goals, our products and what we can do with the current technologies we believe that it is always good to relook at our contents and design so that we can always be relevant.
This is also the first time to fully translate the contents of our website into iTaukei language and I encourage all the iTaukei to get fully informed on what we are doing at TLTB given the current misinformation by some dissident groups in Fiji’s political sphere. And before we go into the general election on the 14th of November, you now have the chance to get fully informed and better prepared to make wise choices on who you want to lead the Nation into the future.
Some of the new features included are: • iTaukei Version Tab, • Mobile Responsive,• Online forms with instant replies, • Landowners Information Menu, • Whistleblower portal, • New content e.g. that’s into climate change and the sustainable development goals (SDG’s), • Social Media Tabs (Linked-In, Facebook, You Tube and Twitter share buttons).
