
TLTB OPENS ITS DOORS AT NADARIVATU
July 13, 2026The TLTB under the iTaukei Development Fund Facility (TDFF) continues to support iTaukei entrepreneurship and community-based economic development, with the CEO Mr Solomone Nata presenting loan assistance to Nadroga businessman Mr. Jone Druma on Friday.
Mr. Druma, of Mataqali Nawaqatabua, Yavusa Vusu, Komave village, living at Vusama Village in Malomalo District, Nadroga, was approved a loan of $97,442.25 over a two-year term to support the acquisition of a 15-seater minivan from Carpenters Motors, insurance payment, and working capital for his transport business, Navatusa Investment.
Through Navatusa Investment, Mr. Druma provides daily transport services for InterContinental hotel staff travelling from Batiri, Togobula, Navisabasaba, and Vusama, as well as school children from Vusama Village, Namotutu Settlement, and nearby communities attending Nadroga Arya College.
The business also offers vehicle hire services to the wider community, helping improve mobility, accessibility, and connectivity across rural and peri-urban areas in Nadroga.
The support will strengthen Mr. Druma’s existing operations and help meet growing demand along approved routes, following his successful registration of Navatusa Investment and the securing of a Licensed Carrier Permit from the Land Transport Authority.
Mr. Druma’s initiative reflects the entrepreneurial spirit of iTaukei business owners who are creating practical services for their communities while generating income and employment opportunities.
